These Terms govern the use of the ReportGenix application and services. These general conditions apply universally unless additional conditions are specified in relation to specific services or features.
1.1 User Requirements
Users of ReportGenix must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
1.2 Account Registration
To access certain services, Users must create an account providing truthful and complete information. Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in service unavailability.
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
- Using strong, secure passwords
- All activities conducted under their username and password
1.3 Notification of Breach

1.4 Conditions for Account Registration
- Accounts created automatically by bots or other automated methods are not permitted
- Each user may only maintain one active account
- Business accounts must be registered under the legitimate business name
- False or misleading information may result in immediate account termination
1.5 Account Suspension and Deletion
ReportGenix reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts:
- Deemed inappropriate, offensive, or fraudulent
- In violation of these Terms
- Involved in abuse of service or API limits
- Without prior notice or compensation when necessary
User-Initiated Termination:
Users may terminate their account at any time by:
- Using ReportGenix-provided account deletion tools in Settings
- Contacting ReportGenix support at support@reportgenix.com
- Uninstalling the application from their Shopify store
Upon account termination:
- Access to all services will be immediately revoked
- All user data will be deleted within 30 days
- Backups will be purged within 90 days
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
2. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property
2.1 ReportGenix Content
All content on ReportGenix, including but not limited to:
- Software code and algorithms
- User interface designs and layouts
- Reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Documentation and help materials
- Logos, trademarks, and branding
…is the exclusive property of ReportGenix or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
2.2 User Data Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to:
- Your Shopify store data
- Your Google Analytics data
- Your customer information
- Any content you upload or create
ReportGenix does not claim ownership of your data. We only process it to provide our services.
2.3 License to Use Our Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Access and use ReportGenix for your business purposes
- Generate reports and analytics from your connected data sources
- Export data in supported formats
You may NOT:
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use our service for illegal purposes or in violation of these Terms
2.4 External Resources
ReportGenix may provide links to third-party resources, including:
- Integration partner websites (Shopify, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Educational content and tutorials
- Support documentation
These resources are outside of our control and not covered by these Terms. Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
3.1 Permitted Use
ReportGenix must only be used for:
- Legitimate business analytics and reporting purposes
- Analyzing your own store data and authorized third-party integrations
- Personal or commercial use in compliance with applicable laws
3.2 Prohibited Activities
Users must NOT:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Infringe intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated scripts to scrape or extract data beyond normal API usage
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Use the service to harm, harass, or threaten others
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions
- Interfere with other users’ access to the service
- Impersonate ReportGenix, our employees, or other users
3.3 Consequences of Violation
Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Immediate account suspension or termination
- Legal action and recovery of damages
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities
- Permanent ban from using ReportGenix services
4. Google Analytics Integration Terms
4.1 Authorization Requirements
By connecting your Google Analytics account to ReportGenix, you represent and warrant that:
- You have proper authorization to connect the Google Analytics property
- You are the owner or have been granted administrative access to the GA4 property
- You have the legal right to share this data with ReportGenix
- Your use complies with Google Analytics Terms of Service
- You have obtained necessary consents from your website visitors for data processing
4.2 Data Access and Usage
You acknowledge and agree that:
- ReportGenix will access only the data necessary for dashboard functionality
- We use read-only access and cannot modify your Google Analytics configuration
- Data is used exclusively for providing ReportGenix services to your account
- You can disconnect the integration at any time through your account settings
- We will never share your Google Analytics data with third parties
- Data access is limited to metrics explicitly described in our Privacy Policy
4.3 Service Limitations
- API Quotas: Service availability may be limited by Google Analytics API quotas
- Data Accuracy: We display data as provided by Google Analytics API; we are not responsible for inaccuracies in Google’s data
- Historical Data: Access limited to data available in your GA4 property
- Real-time Data: Some metrics may have delays based on Google’s data processing
- Property Changes: If you modify GA4 property settings, dashboard accuracy may be affected
4.4 Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Maintain valid Google Analytics account and property access
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
- Ensure your GA4 configuration complies with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Not attempt to reverse engineer our Google Analytics integration
- Keep your Google Analytics access tokens secure
- Notify us if you transfer ownership of your GA4 property
4.5 Disconnection and Data Deletion
- You can disconnect Google Analytics anytime without notice through Settings → Integrations
- Upon disconnection, we stop accessing your GA data immediately
- OAuth tokens are invalidated within 1 hour
- Cached data is deleted according to our retention policy (maximum 90 days)
- You can request immediate deletion of all cached data by contacting support@reportgenix.com
4.6 Google Analytics Service Changes
If Google makes changes to their Analytics API that affect our service:
- We’ll provide 30 days notice when possible
- Service functionality may be temporarily affected during transitions
- We may need to request additional permissions for new features
- You’ll be notified of any required re-authorization via email and in-app notification
- You can choose to decline new permissions, which may limit certain features
4.7 Compliance with Google Policies
Our Google Analytics integration complies with:
- Google Analytics Terms of Service
- Google API Services User Data Policy
- Google OAuth 2.0 Policies
- Limited Use Requirements for Google API Scopes
We commit to using Google Analytics data only as described in our Privacy Policy and these Terms.
5. Third-Party Service Integrations
5.1 Supported Integrations
ReportGenix integrates with various third-party services including:
- Shopify: E-commerce platform (primary integration)
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Website analytics
- Facebook Business Manager: Social media advertising analytics (if available)
- Instagram Business API: Social media performance (if available)
- TikTok for Business: Advertising analytics (if available)
5.2 Integration Responsibilities
When connecting third-party services, you agree to:
- Maintain active accounts with integrated services
- Comply with each service’s terms of use and privacy policies
- Manage permissions and access tokens properly
- Report any integration issues promptly to support@reportgenix.com
- Have proper authorization to connect business accounts
- Understand that service interruptions by third parties are beyond our control
5.3 Data Combination and Processing
When multiple services are connected:
- We may combine data from different sources for unified reporting
- Each integration maintains separate privacy and security controls
- You control which data sources are included in reports through your dashboard settings
- Cross-platform analysis is performed only with your explicit consent
- Combined reports respect the most restrictive privacy policy among connected services
5.4 Third-Party Service Limitations
We are not responsible for:
- Downtime, data loss, or errors caused by third-party services
- Changes to third-party APIs that affect functionality
- Costs associated with third-party service usage
- Data accuracy issues originating from third-party sources
- Policy violations on third-party platforms
6. Terms and Conditions of Sale
6.1 Subscription Plans

6.3 Billing and Payment
Payment Processing:
- Payments are processed through Shopify’s billing system or Stripe
- ReportGenix does not store credit card information
- All transactions are encrypted and secure
Billing Cycles:
- Monthly subscriptions: Billed every 30 days
- Annual subscriptions: Billed once per year (typically at discounted rate)
- Billing date is established on first subscription purchase
Payment Methods:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Shopify billing account
- Other methods as available in your region
Failed Payments:
- Service may be suspended if payment fails
- You’ll receive notification before suspension
- Retry attempts are made automatically
- Account reactivates upon successful payment
6.4 Refund Policy
General Policy:
- We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of initial purchase
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
Refund Eligibility:
- First-time purchases only (one refund per customer)
- No refunds for renewal charges
- Partial refunds not available for monthly subscriptions
- Annual subscriptions may receive pro-rated refunds at our discretion

6.5 Subscription Changes and Cancellations
Upgrading:

- No refunds for downgraded plans
- Data may be limited based on new plan restrictions
Cancellation:
- Cancel anytime through Settings → Subscription
- Access continues until end of paid period
- No refunds for partial months (except within 14-day guarantee)
- Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation
- Reactivation possible within 30 days without data loss
6.6 Free Trial Terms
If a free trial is offered:
- Credit card may be required for trial activation
- Automatic conversion to paid plan after trial ends unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime during trial with no charges
- Full access to plan features during trial period
- One trial per customer/store
7. User Rights
7.1 Right of Withdrawal
European Consumers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days for any reason without providing justification.
Withdrawal Period:
- Begins on the day of purchase
- Must be exercised within 14 calendar days
- Submit withdrawal notice to support@reportgenix.com

Refund Processing:

- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
No Guarantee of Results:
- We do not guarantee specific business outcomes from using our analytics
- Data accuracy depends on third-party sources (Shopify, Google Analytics)
- Reports and insights are informational only, not professional advice
Third-Party Services:
- We are not responsible for failures, downtime, or data issues from integrated services
- API changes by third parties may affect functionality
8. Liability and Indemnification
8.1 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReportGenix shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Unauthorized access to your data due to third-party breaches
- Errors or inaccuracies in reports or analytics
- Decisions made based on our reports or insights
Maximum Liability:
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to ReportGenix in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8.2 Exceptions to Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Gross negligence or willful misconduct
In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
8.3 User Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReportGenix and our employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Your misuse of the service
- Unauthorized access to your account due to your negligence
- Content you upload or share through the service
- Your breach of third-party service terms (Shopify, Google, etc.)

10. Changes and Amendments

- Deprecation of features: 90 days notice
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by User
You may terminate your account at any time as described in Section 1.5.
11.2 Termination by ReportGenix
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if:

- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You abuse our service or API limits
- Required by law or court order
- Your payment method fails repeatedly
- You create security risks for our system or other users
11.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination:
- Immediate loss of access to all services
- Data deletion within 30 days (unless legally required to retain)
- No refunds for remaining subscription period (except as required by law)
- Outstanding payments become immediately due
- Licenses granted under these Terms are revoked

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 Jurisdiction
For disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation or mediation:
- Business Users: Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh
- European Consumers: May bring proceedings in their country of residence or in Bangladesh
- Other Consumers: Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in their jurisdiction
12.3 Language
These Terms are provided in English. Translations may be provided for convenience, but the English version governs in case of conflicts.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to:

- Allow 30 days for good-faith resolution attempt
- Engage in direct negotiation to resolve the issue
13.2 Mediation
If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation or arbitration.

13.4 Class Action Waiver

14.1 Entire Agreement

14.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to affiliates or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

- Government actions or regulations
- Internet or telecommunications failures
